Just in and being prepared.Definitely NOT your
average MGB.

We like to think that we work hard to present good,
honest classic cars, and without doubt the hardest
part of what we do is aquiring them. MGBs like this
one make it all worthwhile.........she's a stunner !

There are plenty of MGs out there. Sadly, many of
them are presented with beauty that is only skin
deep....but not this one. The coachwork positively
gleams, and panels are arrow straight with excellent
gaps. More important, the structural integrity of the
car is spot on, with excellent floors, castle sections,
sills, spring hangers, etc. Equally, the interior is
refinished in full and unmarked black leather, and
fitted with a new top quality Carrelli carpet set
(including the boot area). She retains her factory
steering wheel, and is fitted with a nice period radio
cassette player. (remember them !).

We've already started a comprehensive service
on the car, and are equally impressed with the
mechanical aspects of the car. Removal of the
rocker box for powder coating and tappet adjustment revealed immaculate engine internals. This is backed up with great compression readings and spot on oil pressure (hot or cold). Out on the road, the gearbox is seamless, and the overdrive on 3rd and 4th is as crisp as it should be.

All in all, this is a great car, and represents the iconic MGB at its best. A classic sports car that's well worth presenting at the upcoming summer classic car shows, and a good investment to boot. As ever, viewing and on ramp inspections are welcome and encouraged, but please ring prior to travelling as we feel that this one won't be around long and we'd hate to disappoint.
